Rhode Island Research Administration Collaborative

The Rhode Island Research Administration Collaborative (RIRAC) is a partnership among five Rhode Island institutions, Roger Williams University, Providence College, Rhode Island College, Rhode Island School of Design, and Salve Regina University, formed to strengthen research funding, faculty support, and collaboration across the state. Backed by a $3 million National Science Foundation GRANTED award, RIRAC pools administrative expertise and resources so that these primarily undergraduate institutions can strengthen their capacity to pursue national research funding, train the next generation of research professionals, and support interdisciplinary work between campuses. It also extends that support beyond higher education, offering local nonprofits guidance on applying for and managing federal grants.
